AAPS Board member and college friend, Geoff Notkin got in touch while I was on my trip around the world and I was able to create a new logo for this established non-profit. The ideas were generated in the Galápagos Islands, refined in Mexico City and finalized in Japan. The idea came from experiencing weathered and yellow specimen cards from museum collections. Each piece features custom created handwriting, stamps, photos, and weathered typography for an authentic look and feel.
